Privacy Policy

The short version: Ez3D runs entirely in your web browser. We do not run analytics, we do not use tracking cookies, and your designs never leave your device. The only personal information involved in Ez3D is what our payment processor collects if you choose to buy Pro.

1. Who we are

This policy covers the Ez3D website and web app at ez3d.app ("Ez3D", "we", "us"). If you have a privacy question, email John@gandsinc.com.

2. What the app collects

Nothing is sent to us when you use the app. Ez3D is a client-side tool: the 3D geometry engine runs in your browser, and the parts you design, the photos you trace, and the files you import or export all stay on your own device. We have no server that receives, stores, or sees your designs.

3. Data stored on your own device

To make the app work, Ez3D saves some information locally in your browser's storage (localStorage and IndexedDB). This includes your saved designs, your chosen printer, recent settings, and, if you buy Pro, your license details. This data lives only on your device, is never transmitted to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

4. Cookies and tracking

Ez3D does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics services. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share any data, because we do not collect any to begin with.

5. Purchases and the Pro license

Ez3D Pro is sold and processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our Merchant of Record. When you buy Pro, you transact directly with Lemon Squeezy, and they collect the information needed to complete the sale, such as your email address and payment details. We never see or store your full payment information.

Lemon Squeezy's handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policy: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy. When you activate or deactivate a Pro license inside the app, Ez3D contacts Lemon Squeezy's license server to verify your key. That verification request is the only network call the app makes after it has loaded.

6. Email

If you email us, we receive your message and address so we can reply. We use it only to respond and to provide support. We do not add you to a marketing list.

7. Children

Ez3D is a general-purpose design tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your choices and rights

Because we hold no personal data about you on our side, there is nothing for us to export or delete from our servers. You can clear everything Ez3D stores on your device through your browser at any time. For data related to a purchase, you can contact Lemon Squeezy, or email us and we will help. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honor those requests.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
